Global Alliance for Health and Social Compact represents a new business initiative comprising consultancy and management, expertise and extensive capacity to deliver professional innovative solutions for health systems improvement.

GAHSC is an international company that brings together people representing a wide range of health system expertise - from the fields of public health, healthcare management, healthcare finance, service delivery, design and reconfiguration, and comprehensive system monitoring and evaluation.

Dr. Jean-Elie Malkin is a Medical Doctor, specialist in infectious diseases and Public Health with over 25 years’ experience in clinical practice notably at the Medical center of Pasteur Institute in Paris (France). In 2009 he joined UNAIDS (Joint UN program on HIV/Aids) as a Senior Adviser to Executive Director, where since 2011 till 2014 he’s been holding the position of the Regional Director for Eastern Europe and Central Asia. He has a huge experience in various international Public Health programs run worldwide, specifically in the field of surveillance of communicable diseases, health planning, hospital partnerships and health insurance systems Dr. Malkin possess a unique track record in numerous consultancy programs for the French Ministry of Cooperation as well as for international organizations, such as the WHO, the World Bank and the Global Fund.

The Chairman of the Board is Dr. Bernard Kouchner, a Founder of the “Doctors without borders” and the “Doctors of the world”. In 1999 the “Doctors without borders” organization received the Nobel Peace Prize. He was Minister in several French governments, in charge of Public Health and humanitarian affairs (1988-2002) and Minister of Foreign and European Affairs from 2007 till 2011.

He was appointed by UN Secretary General Kofi Annan as Special Representative for Kosovo from 1999 to 2001. He taught at the Harvard School of Public Health and at the CNAM in Paris (Chairman of Health and Development).

In bringing together knowledge, experience, field-tested skills and collaboration with institutions - academic, international and commercial, GAHSC has created a new model of healthcare partnership – one that focuses on cost effectiveness and result-oriented solutions.
